MedaBoot Foot Splint helps correct plantar flexion contractures when used with passive range of motion exercise. Lightweight spring-action construction provides continuous gentle yet effective corrective force to the plantar aspect of the foot.  Product design offers total pressure relief for the heel and toes as recommended by the AHCPR Clinical Practice Guidelines for wound prevention.  Also included is the Rotator Bar, to control hip and leg rotation and the adjustable Toe Post to relieve pressure from bed linens, but can be positioned to the side for treatment of malleous and lateral ulcers.
