WalkAssist AFO

The Lightweight WalkAssist AFO stabilizes the weakened ankle and foot during ambulation and offers total pressure relief of the heel and toes when the wearer is recumbent. The unique rocker sole provides unparalleled stability for ambulation and a quick release mechanism important for infection control purposes. An integrated soft foam interface cushions the plantar surface of the foot during ambulation and the Achilles area when recumbent to prevent pressure ulcers.  Also included is the Rotator Bar, to control hip and leg rotation and the adjustable Toe Post to relieve pressure from bed linens, but can be positioned to the side for treatment of malleous and lateral ulcers.
